Job Boundaries:

To take immediate action of any unsafe act or condition identified-includes halting work until the unsafe act or condition is rectified. To immediately report all the accidents, incidents and near misses to the management at the work site. Participate in the daily walkthrough and meetings.

Tasks:

Promote safety culture and tradition, attend safety Meetings, liaison with customer's Safety Representative, conduct Site Safety Inspection, Participate in Safety Audits, Participate in risk assessments, Monitor activities and conditions at the work location, identify and report unsafe acts and conditions, Conducts toolbox talks, Communicate hazards associated with a tasks, Carry-out other duties as directed by the Senior Safety Coordinator of client.

Brief Description of Responsibilities:

To educate all employees about safety policies of the company and make sure the policies are known and followed by everyone.

Direct responsibility for safety at work location and the authority to half work for a safe practice or conditions are identified

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accident incident Investigation and Reporting, Achieving excellent safety regards.

Always bear in mind all safety guidelines and procedure.

Always remember the company's policy, which is to target zero accident.

Assist with training employees at all levels.

Attend job progress meeting and ensure that firefighting equipment and adequate checking electrical power equipment.

Auditing machinery. PPE, Housekeeping & Hand tools.

Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished job such as open pit overhead and other must have safety precaution of signboard and safety tape to avoid accident.

Carry out surprise checks on site to determine effectiveness & adequacy of system for safety. Highlight wrong practices being followed, which are not meeting safety requirements & recommend corrective action. Keep records of the same.

Carry out the site survey to see that safe work methods are in operation.

Check the work permits and coordinates with assigned safety representatives for implementation of safety procedures.

Checking hot work permit, Confined space entry permit, Elevated work permit, Excavation permit, checking the scaffolding.

Choosing of new PPE & special safety protection equipment and making budget estimate.

Conduct daily Fire Safety Inspection on all permanent facilities.

Conduct new employees Safety orientation program to all employees.

Review cranes site inspection and lifting plans.

Participate in the safety incident investigations. HSE Objectives:
