My Role and Responsibilities as a Junior Application Engineer:
To support Internal and External sales and helping customers to find the best engineering solution for their business by giving them technical support on our products. My Role and Responsibilities as a Mechanical Engineering Technician:
I was responsible for performance tests in the plant, writing the recommendations reports and loading defects on the system to the Maintenance engineering department. Follow up defects raised by our the department with the Maintenance department in a Prioritization meeting. Investigate the discrepancy between the control room and plant readings. It was to Assist the Performance and Testing Manager to ensure that the department conforms with OHSA 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
Performance and Testing Technician on:
-Boiler plant (Checking a boiler, Mills, classifiers performance then recommend for maintenance)
-Turbine Plant (Monitoring a turbine performance, turbine efficiency test and testing pipe leaks)
-Auxiliary plant (Cooling tower performance and Heat exchanger performance)
-Condition Monitoring (I was performing IR thermography on all the bearings in the plant, vibration analysis, taking oil samples and analyzing the report from the lab)
-I designed the offloading system of a molten Sulphur from the delivery truck to the storage tank
-I got Awarded ZERO HARM RUNNER UP in 2017
