Coastal and Terrestrial Remediation and
Restoration Program under the Supervision of National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), Formerly General Authority of Meteorology & Environmental Protection (GAMEP), the purpose is to address terrestrial and coastal damages in Saudi Arabia resulting from the 1991 Gulf War. United Nation Compensation Commission
(UNCC) awarded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) funding to address these damages.

Daily on-site observations of the Remediation Contractors’ work are being carried out at all active sites for the purposes of determining that the work conforms to the remediation contract, maintains the integrity of the design concept and to validate the quantity of work accomplished.
