Duties and Responsibilities
Cable installation (U/G & A/G) installation, inspections of cable tray rack and conduits Installation, insulation resistance tests, field junction boxes installations, Field instruments installations, wiring terminations, impuse line tubing, air supply piping and tubing, bench calibrations, pre-commissioning loop checks, area lighting and small power Dab’s and circuits like MOV circuits, grounding and lightening protections/motor control stations. Witness electrical/instrument inspections in substations, switching units, bus bar assembly-HV switch gear, switching units, voltage transformers, current transformers protection and control relays, LV switch transformers, LV switch boards, electric motors, AC-DC UPS, high voltage cable tests trace heating, earth systems, Experience to read/interpret electrical instrumentation control circuits system. Read/interpret electrical, instrumentation control circuits, functional logic diagrams, single line & relay and ladder logics, hazardous area classifications, international standard codes, enclosures degrees of protection, etc.
Plan and perform work scheduling, trouble shooting, loop checking, commissioning start-ups, etc.
Perform instrument calibrations. Conduct field/bus wiring tests. Diagnose instrument malfunctions; implement preventive, breakdown maintenance of the instrument systems Installation and termination of instrument cable with DCS & RTU panel and calibration of instrument like FT, PT, LT, TT and H2S detector.
Responsible for PANEL AND CALIBTATION OF INSTRUMENT like H2S detector, pressure transmitter, level transmitter, temperature transmitter, flow transmitter, flow transmitter and small power cabling support system and its installation as per NEC standard.
