JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plan and Schedule the project by developing a projects master schedule in line with the proposal Requirements through the application of the MS Excel Software.

Function with the Engineering team to plan, coordinate and execute Electrical Projects.

Accountable for preparing technical design documents based on project specifications.

Anchoring erection and commissioning, & ensuring completion of projects in minimum turnaround time effective resource utilization to maximize the output.

Overseeing commissioning as well as conducting the tests & inspections to ensure the operational effectiveness of utilities.

Coordinating with Design team preparing of shop floor drawings/As built drawings.

Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to Execution, involving finalization of Technical specifications, Erection, commissioning & Manpower Planning and Improvements projects.

Resource Planning & work scheduling to achieve the effective manpower deployment of qualified workforce to meet the target dates.

Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work timely execution of the all projects through daily/weekly/monthly/reports with respect to review of overall projects.

Creating Enterprise Project structure(EPS),Organization Breakdown Structure(WBS) in MS Excel software

Scheduling, Maintaining Baseline and Tracking, Reports.

Co-ordinate internal projects team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client/PMC/consultants of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems. Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required and keep the management and project director apprised of the progress on a regular basis.

Ensure that project controls documents such as resources Histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems .etc. are fully developed and reviewed by Construction Management and that Engineering and Procurement interfaces are properly addressed.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Superior.

Responsible for Monitoring and checking site installations performed by subcontractors to ensure its adherence to the drawings and specifications.

Taking the quantities and handling the tasks of monitoring the development of installation.

Perform the tasks of maintaining drawing registers, drawing files as well as site filing system.

Always following the updates drawing and submitting the variation report to the concerned dept.

Ordering the required materials as per specifications.

Coordinating with other trades civil, mechanical, and finishing to avoid repetitive work.

Responsible for preparing method statements and completed construction documents.

Liaise with clients/PMC/consultant and design department on installation details and design issues.

Perform the tasks of preparing defect schedules as well as ensure correction of the same.

Handle the tasks of supporting senior level site engineer in complex commissioning of electrical equipment.

Preparation of shop drawings, raising timely invoices, variations claims and settlement, bill of quantities, finalization of various suppliers, subcontracts, work planning and execution of works with optimum resources.

Planning and implementing predictive & preventive maintenance schedules of various equipment’s to enhance the equipment reliability and increasing machine up time.

Voltage drop calculations, selection of cables & wires, switchgears, motor, short circuit calculation.

Coordination with Lasioning works BESCOM/HESCOM/GESCOM/MESCOM/EB Boards/CEIG
