The Public Theater: Senior Finance Manager of Payroll and Administration June 2018 - Present Senior Finance Manager of Payroll and Administration
● Oversees and held accountable for the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
● Act as lead project manager in implementation of new systems and changes to existing systems
● Prepare comprehensive financial reports in relation to salary compensation, cash reports, month end reporting, headcount analysis, and other ad hoc reporting
● Lead and supervise annual tax filings as well as fiscal and salary surveys including: audits, 1099s, 1096s, 1042s, W-2s, W-3s, 1095s, 990s, and 5500s reports, TCG and DCLA surveys
● Process executive compensation filings such as: 457b, 403b, and 457f
● Support Human Resources with policy changes and implementation
● Enroll staff members in benefit carriers and payroll systems and reconcile benefit billing
● Process pension reporting, Pension Census, and other pension related items
● Maintain financial schedules, i.e. accrual and prepaid expense, commercial revenue
● Perform month on month, and year on year, variance and trend analysis, and present to senior management
● Continuously look to improve processes and practices, conducting periodic reviews of data
● Perform yearly financial and payroll related reconciliations and analysis on programs and projects Manager of Finance and Payroll
● Supervise the Finance Associate and Payroll Administrator, reviewing data entry and process/deadline adherence
● Monitor the payment process for 250+ disbursements and 500+ employee paychecks (union and non union) per week
● Review and post journal entries completed
● Act as main contact and relationship manager for ADP, Concur, and Financial Edge
● Prepare and distribute 1099s, W2s, 1042s, 1096, and 1095s
● Serve as backup for both AP Administrator and Payroll Administrator as needed
● Collaborate with HR team on payroll-related issues
● Represent Finance and Payroll in cross departmental spaces, especially GM and Production
● Produce analyses and reporting as requested
● Oversee check and cash deposit activity
● Assist with cash forecasting and projection
● Create and conduct trainings for staff, and develop training documents to keep staff up to date on policies and procedures

● Track expenditures and ensure proper cost center recording on a $50M operating budget
● Identify and create process improvements for the department
● Facilitate quarterly and semiannual concur trainings of behalf of the Finance Department
● Upkeep monthly schedules, and manage year-end accrual and prepaid expense schedules
● Respond to all Concur queries, troubleshoot, and database upkeep Finance Associate
