Description - Anodizing is the process of coating aluminum products to protect it from oxidation. A thin layer (7 to 10 micron) of lead (Pb) is coated over the aluminum, which is the requirement of the customer. Hence, under the guidance of Mr. Dewan the process was introduced to produce high quantities using automatic material carrying transporters and SCADA which is effectively made possible by Mr. Ingole. As a production engineer, my efforts are to control and maintain the system from trials to full production.

● Introduction of Triple Start Hob Cutters to Increase Production Senior Team Members - Mr. Dewan, Mr. Sharma, Mr. Goel and Mr. Singh Date - June 2018 to April 2019

Description - Hobbing is the process of teeth cutting, which was taking more than 30 minutes to cut teeth on a stack of 30 pieces of sprocket using single start hob cutters. But by applying KAIZEN, a suggestion was made by Mr. Dewan and Mr. Sharma introduced a triple start hob cutting process which reduced cycle time up to 3 times less and thus increasing productivity. The project was implemented by Mr. Goel and Mr. Singh. My support was to effectively work on the process and notice if any defects formed using FMEA.
