Responsible for Marketing of Import Substitute products mainly fluoroplastic Lined Piping, Valves, Pumps, Columns, Vessels and complete system for Corrosive protection in Chemical and allied industries. Incharge for Andhra Pradesh & Orissa region for Marketing of TEFLON Lined Diaphragm/Ball/Plug/Ball cheek valves, PTFE/TEFLON lined Butterfly valve, PTFE Moulded components. Involved in Development of New products and R&D activities.

02 Worked as a MANAGER (R&D) with Surface Engineering Division of M/s. RAJENDRA MINING SPARES CO. LTD., Ponda, Goa from July, 1995 to April, 1998.

Responsible for (R&D) work to stream line the activities of newly set up high temperature coatings viz., Thermal spray, Plasma Spray, HVOF Spray, Mobile Plasma System and to commercialize the new technology in the Indian Market.

Responsible for supply of suitable machinery and consumables in the field of High temperatures coatings (Thermal spray, Plasma spray, HVOF spray) to resist wear, corrosion, Erosion, Fatigue, Cavitations, High temperature oxidation, thermal barriers and other extreme industrial environments.

I was looking after complete South India for coating equipments supply, installation and trouble shooting problems (repair and maintenance) of plasma spray systems, High Velocity Oxy Fuel Spray Systems and Thermal spray systems to the leading Industrial Organizations like B.H.E.L., DMRL, DRDO. NFC, VTPS, Vishakapatnam (Madras) IGCAR, Madras Refineries ISRO (Trivandrum) Gas Turbine Research Institute, Bangalore etc.

Actively involved and responsible for promoting this new high tech process and was successful in commercializing the technology to the above mentioned organization. Conducted, seminars and panel discussions for the benefits of the clients and to in calculate the advantages and long run benefits of the high temperature coatings.

Responsible for the overall development of the techniques of this new technology in the South India by participating in the techno commercial discussions with the top officials of the organization and to execute orders on behalf of the company. Having worked with Foreign collaborators (METCO inc., U.S.A) in commissioning of Thermal spray equipments. Directly reporting to the product Manager.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

01. M. Tech. PROJECT “Zirconia Based Thermal Barrier Plasma Sprayed Coatings”

M.Tech Project was completed in collaboration with the prestigious Institution Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (R&D), Hyderabad, which is a leading organization in the field in India. Thermal barriers coatings are playing a vital role in various industries like Aeronautics, Chemical, Textiles, Paper, Thermal Power Plants, Cement, Petrochemical, Dairy, Food, Sugar, Steel, Electronics and allied chemical process Industries.

Worked under the scheme of Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India at Material Science & Technology section of University of college of Technology, OsmaniaUniversity, Hyderabad from Sept., 1988 to Feb., 1990
