DETAILS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1. June 2019 – to Present: I have been doing DNB Paediatrics Training at Medical Trust Hospital Kochi.

• Medical Trust Hospital has an 8 bedded PICU and 10 bedded Neonatal ICU with 4 ventilators, in addition to Paediatric ward and rooms. It caters high risk pregnancies including preterm babies with gestational age 25 weeks and above, and has a very good survival rate. MIS C (Post Covid), Neurologic and respiratory emergencies and mechanical ventilation. During this period, I have been involved in primary care of all types of Paediatric and Neonatal problems including rotational PICU and NICU in charge.

• I was also involved in taking classes for the Undergraduate and regular academic sessions in the hospital, as well as training Nurses and junior staff during this period.

• I am well versed in all Paediatric and Neonatal procedures including cannulation, Lumbar puncture, intubation, bone marrow aspiration and management of paediatric and neonatal ventilation. 2. November 2017 – November 2018: Worked as Paediatric Registrar at Chennai National Hospital, Tamilnadu.It’s a multispecialty hospital with PICU and NICU units, which caters preterm infants and all paediatric patients. 3. June 2015 – June 2017: Junior resident Pediatrics: DCH Trainee at Madras Medical College.

• It Is an apex academic institute with a dedicated paediatric wing with 800 beds and all paediatric subspecialty departments working as a tertiary referral center. During my training here I was assigned rotational independent duties in various paediatric super specialities including Paediatric critical care, Neonatology, Hematooncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology and Cardiology.

• During this period I acquired skills in managing various paediatric emergencies and experience in procedures including intubation, cannulation, lumbar puncture, peritoneal dialysis and bone marrow aspiration.

4. January 2013 – June 2013: Worked as casualty Medical officer at High Range Hospital, Mundakkayam, Kerala. Here I was involved in mostly managing paediatric and adult emergencies.
