Key Responsibilities Handled

•Care of all patients in ICU in coordination with surgical, medical and other consultant

•Provide continuous vigilance of care; early intervention and ongoing care with the goal of decrease ICU morbidity and mortality

•Perform critical care procedures like Central line insertion, Dialysis line insertion, Arterial line insertion, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, pleural tapping, ascitic tapping, trans-venous pacemaker,Tracheostomy independently

•Examine and evaluate each patient after admission to ICU and notify the attending physician of assessment and recommendations.

•Perform and document subsequent evaluation of all patients in ICU on daily rounds as per NABH,JCI recommemdations.

•Respond to all Cardiac and Respiratory arrest in ICU, and manage patients according to ACLS guidelines

•Participate in the educational program for critical care unit personal as well as medical staff.

•Attend ICU committee meetings.

•Continuously maintained proper safety and took precautionary measures to avoid the spread of disease and infection.

•Administered and prescribed appropriate courses of treatment, including pharmaceutical medications.

Dealing sympathetically with sensitive circumstances.

Keeping up to date with the latest treatments, medicines and medical developments.

Worked in a pressurized environment and produce the best result.

Trained the new junior doctors.

Technical Skills
