Duties & Responsibilities:
Hydro testing, Pneumatic testing, clearance of punch list, internal cleaning, flushing, dry-out and equipment test start-up and related jobs.
Evaluation of test package contents to ensure that required NDT, PWHT, Hardness Test, PMI, Re-informed Pad Test and Flush Grinding of Orifice Flange has been performed prior to final system Pressure Test.
Checking the punch listing items as per P & ID and isometric such as pipe supports, valves, guides, pads, shoes, plates and approving releasing packages for HYDROTEST.
Package preparation of hydro test and final documentation.
Witness final pressure test, including verification of pressure gauges have adequate dial range and calibrated. Verify the required test pressure maintained for the specified length of time without any leakage.
Review and evaluate drawing on plan, Isometric, and P &ID’s for monitoring and coordination on Engineering and concerned departments.
Tagged the tie-in point with the steel plate and marked the tie-in numbers.
Check & inspect gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement as per latest isometric drawings for construction, code and specification standards.
Raw/piping material inspection, certification of materials, pneumatic test and destructive tests.
Piping pre-fabrication inspection in the fabrication shop, fit-up and welding inspection, erection of large bore piping like compressor suction and discharge piping, pipe support installation, piping alignment checking, pipe route and pipe support modification works, pre-punch works, line checking, punch clearing, witness and inspection of hydrotesting and reinstatement works.
Verification of materials from receiving and conformity on materials as per project specification and standards.
Inspect all cutting & edges, traceability of materials, bevel angle, and angles.
Check fit-up, tack welding & cleanliness, correct orientation and dimensional accuracy as per drawing.
Pre-welding inspection, edge preparation, joint root gap, root face, misalignment on joints & preheating as per approved WPS.
WPS & PQR shall meet the Code & Project requirements.
Check Welder Qualification Test/Identity Card as per WPS.
Visual Inspection of final Welding (CAP).
Request of Non-destructive Test (NDT) & Verify PT, MT, & UT results.
Radiography Test film review & reports.
