Dedicated Heavy Equipment Repair Artisan / Mechanic with over seven (7) years of working experience progressively in a mining industry with an apprenticeship background, I am a team player who enjoys working with others. I am a self-starter who has hands – on experience in heavy diesel engines and engine systems, power-train, brake system, suspension system, steering system, final drive, hydraulic system, pneumatic system and mechanical repairs/installation on heavy equipment machines. WORK EXPERIENCE

First Quantum Minerals – Mining Division = 01 May 2014 to Present

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, service heavy diesel engines and heavy equipment machines such as: but not limited to mining haul trucks. Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu.

• Carry out preventive and planned maintenance including back log repairs

• Repair and replace worn out parts,

• Remove and change engine components like; turbo chargers, fuel injectors, fuel pumps, oil pumps, radiator, induction and exhaust manifolds.

• Replace cylinder head and gaskets, lube filters, fuel filters, oil coolers and air cleaners

• Replace thermostat, valve clearance setting.

• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on heavy equipment machines.

• Knowledge of repairing and maintaining heavy diesel engines including all engine systems.

• Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs.

• In – depth knowledge of methods of operating and maintain different types of heavy equipment especially dump trucks such as 777D, 777F, 785C Caterpillar, EH3500AC II Hitachi, HD 785 – 5, HD 785 – 7, HD 1500 Komatsu trucks.

• Possess computer / internet knowledge and skills.

• Proficient in technical language and engineering terminology.

• Using Overhead Crane to change heavy Machine components,

• Capable of using oxy-acetylene to cut and to heat,
