SCAW METALS GROUP (NOV 2020 – CURRENT)

PRODUCTION CLERK / MORGAN MILL

Production

• Work out tons made for each shift and total for the day, type out the report for the management meetings, check if the yield is right and the tons the same on SAP made for the day.

• Update excel sheet daily summary of the production made each day to check yearly records also to check where we lost time with the delays and see to get it better so that we don’t get delays anymore.

• Check the scrap taken out for the day, weekly and/or monthly.

• Update excel sheet to check when was billets received also how many, then update when the billets is rolled and how many, daily update.

• Help people on the floor to order spares/coffee etc. from SAP from the Main store.

• Help people order PPE also check which reservation goes with which invoice to make sure we got all stock of PPE and let them sign off and file papers to check monthly how many times they order PPE.

• Create Purchase Requisitions for Morgan Mill Procurement, Transport & Warehouse, Scan PR’s to SAP with order that I created from the paper, send in to get released and price negotiable.

• Receive invoices from the Purchase Requisitions and GRV (goods receipts) them into SAP, scan and send to finance for payments, do reversals if something is wrong with invoice or order.

• Handling stationary for the Morgan Mill plant, make sure we have enough paper and ink for printer, also the sales office and main block office.

• Order coffee, milk, sugar and tea for main office, make sure kitchen is fully stocked for when CEO arrives for meetings.

• Stand in for colleagues during leave/absenteeism, help to create cast sheets, print and give to everyone in plant so that the floor knows what we are rolling next– Planning department

• Check workers clocking on Best time program, put weekly timesheet in excel and give to management to check overtime workers worked, update the excel sheet to see when everyone is on leave, sick leave and clocking not working, scan in sick leave, annual leave any forms in for absents of anyone.

• Check monthly excel sheet how many times each worker was off, sick or on leave.

• Scanning of all paperwork of the daily production papers, Sample Record sheets, Billet receiving and loading form, Shift sup report, Production recording form, Lab report, Straightening plant forms each for Morning, Afternoon and Night shift paper.

• Ad hoc duties – Cleaning the tables every morning as we are in the middle of the plant, cleaning of chairs and computers in the office for Covid-19, making sure to follow rules of social distancing and wearing of mask also sanitizing before entering office
