I was responsible for delegating responsibilities amongst waitresses, making sure that they understood what was expected of them. Making sure that my waitresses provided excellent customer service. I assisted new waitresses with their training and worked as a mediator between the management and the waitresses

Communication

What made me stand out from my co-workers was the determination I showed, I always availed myself when someone needed help or clarity. On my shifts I checked if there was any shortage, if the bathrooms were clean and presentable. I went an extra mile for my customers

Leadership

Being promoted to head waitress/ hostess, a position that never existed before at Mcafe was because of a presentation that I pitched to management to resolve fighting amongst waitresses for tables, they saw how dedicated I was to my job as I would treat all my customers with the same level of respect regardless of what they were buying. They also noticed that I always tried to get my co-works to work together and be a team, and how to resolve any conflict between us before going to management.
