Began with supervising the painting of 26 buildings, 97 units at Puamana. Hired carpenter to replace dry rot prior to painting. Completed project in 2016. Daily swimming pool maintenance, grounds inspections and enforcing the AOAO House Rules.
In 2017 obtained 3 different bids for remodeling the pool area with new flagstone and plaster for the pool. Board of directors chose a vendor and I supervised and came in under budget and on time.
In 2020 put out to bid the re-roof project. Collected bids from roofing companies, architects, and rain gutter contractors. Board of directors chose the contractors and I supervised them in completing 4 of 26 buildings before my resignation on 5/28/2021. I was awarded a completion bonus of $10,000 upon my departure. I also found and trained my replacement manager.
I married a gal from Cambodia on 1/24/2021, and she moved over with her two sons bringing our household to 5 members. Manager's quarters was too small for us and my life savings were adequate to purchase outright a 16 acre farm in Bethune South Carolina.
