Bachelor of Science: Mechanical Engineering
Oakland University Rochester, MI
• Majored in Energy
• Graduated with 3.15 GPA
Researched, planned, and designed a Ballistic Pendulum in CATIA. The result was a pendulum capable of handling 225lb of force and could also accurately record velocities. One of the problems faced were making sure safety factor standards were maintained, which was overcame by using stronger metals and additional supports.
•
Performed an energy audit on a house and used real life tools to help conserve energy on said house while also implementing alternative energy solutions. The result was a house that conserved 55% of its energy costs and a solar panel design to achieve a net-zero home. One of the problems faced was determining the most cost- effective way of saving energy and was overcome by performing payback periods to see the best choice.
•
Collaborated and planned a design project with multiple customers. The result was an array of products that were to their liking and followed through to production and fabrication.
