Working as a Packaging Line Lead in Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc. A Packaging Operator is responsible for taking the finished product of a manufacturing process and ensuring that it is packaged in line with company and industry standards, making it ready for sale or distribution.
Lead a packaging Line and provide guidance for the activities of assigned Line Workers to effectively fill finished good products according to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and production specifications. Trains, motivates, counsels & Instructs Line Workers in the areas of quality control, general packaging procedures, and safety issues. Report any deviations to group leaders/Supervisor/Manager. Report any work-related issues to upper management. Work OUT as required may include coming in or staying prior normal shift start/End time.
Responsible for operating BLISTER (ACG & UHLMANN) machines, including troubleshooting and adjusting in accordance with work standards. Following escalation protocol in a timely manner when troubleshooting efforts fail. Operates machinery with ability to make minor adjustments or repairs, Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.
Reviewing batch records of the packaging operation, teams have the opportunity to catch errors before the product is released to the public. One of the most important aspects during the review of an executed batch record is the documentation of any unexpected or atypical events that may have occurred.
