Employed as an instrumentation/ Maintenance supervisor at Kansanshi mine in the Engineering Department.

Responsibilities

Managed to help company reduce costs on necessary breakdown of machinery by conducting quality maintenance and quick repair work on machinery as an instrument technician ad acting supervisor.

Reduce cost on human injury and damage to property, thus helping meet production targets.

Wired most instrumentation panels during Zambia sugar company merger expansion reducing company costs of contracting external workmanship. Commissioned the biggest boiler and turbines at Zambia Sugar Company which produces about 33kilowatts of power.

-Commissioned all instruments at albidon mine during mine start up.

-Calibrated all instruments for the crushers, milling, floatation and thickener’s.

-Wired most of PLC panels in most substations.

-Programmed danfoss variable speed drives with electricians.

-Fault finding instrumentation problems with help of systems supervisor.

-Managed to oversee all instrumentation planning, overtime and resourses.
