Heavy Equipment Repair Artisan and with much experience in Hitachi Trucks, Komatsu Trucks, Volvo ADT,

Bell ADT, Cat Rigid Dump Trucks, Fixed and mobile Compressors, Mobile Cranes such as Groove, Kato and

Tadano Libbers.

Am currently working at Kansanshi mine for First Quantum minerals.

Am both petrol and diesel mechanic whose aim is to be part of a team of Dedicated Service Providers and be

able to offer and make the most of the opportunities in this world through acquiring experience and

Responsibilities

Use of PPE effectively according to standard procedure, responsible for own safety and that of others

Ensure that areas of responsibilities are maintain to a standard of housekeeping

Reports unsafe situations or hazards immediately to supervisor Leakages and burst hose)

Daily maintenance report writing (job done repot writing)

Machine release form (check fluids level, defects, Cracks, broken parts, oil leakages and burst hose)

Risk assessment form has been done before commencement of any task

Lockout and tag out system have done before commencement of any task

Execute daily routine work strictly according to procedure and standard

To make sure all down or faulty machines booked up in time

Responsibilities:

I performed planned maintenance servicing which I changed filters such as oil, fuel, fuel water separator, Air dryer and Air cleaner Element, then check the brakes for wear if not adjust them, then grease the trucks and adjust valves. Check for any fault if applicable I fix them.

I did major component change out such as Engines, Transmission, Torque Convertors, Differentials and Brakes.

I did relining of shoe brakes where, I remove the wheels, the adjustment released, and the drum removed, the shoe return springs is removed to allow shoe to be removed the shoes are then taken off the old asbestos removed and new one fixed.
