oAssists the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist during patient set-up, planning and treatment.

oAssist the Radiation Oncologist in putting skin markings on treatment fields.

oResponds to patients needs in a professional manner and works as a collaborative team member in the department.

oConsults the Radiation Oncologist for any clarifications regarding treatment plans and prescriptions.

oSet-up/positions patient during CT Simulation and treatment.

oAdvises the Radiation Oncologist or Radiation Oncology Nurses of patient’s complaints and/or reactions to radiation.

oReminds patients after treatment of scheduled weekly check-up.

oTakes note of due dates for replanning.

oRenews patient’s skin markings as needed.

oEnsures comfort and safety of patient during CT Simulation and treatment

oCommunicates with wards for simulation/treatment of patients.

oGives instructions and explains the procedure required for corresponding procedures.

oAssigns time slot for patients for daily treatment.

oCleans the Teletherapy machine and other equipments.

oReports any malfunctioning equipment.

oKeeps all treatment accessories in order.

oRecords film used in treatment field verification.

oGives lectures and assists in technological training of medical and paramedical courses.
