Inside Sales Project: Build web services and supporting programs that generates transactions that becomes the basis for new customer entries, sales work orders and schedules. The web services consume JSON input via YAJL utilities that parses/flattens it in order that the data may be formatted for insertion into native data base files on the Power System.

Develop web service trigger programs that utilized YAJL to build JSON data structures and SYSTOOLS DB2 function, HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE, to invoke RESTful Google Cloud APIs that consumed the JSON in order to replicate data changes to a central cloud repository.

Helped with a data migration project that involved enhancing a CGI RPGLE program to submit reports into batch via clicking a button, I added to the web page, and causing the web page to display a message notifying the user to expect them.

Successfully completed a highly visible project that involved migration from a multi-carrier cellular text messaging program interface to the TWILIO messaging service. The new SMS transmission program sends messages to TWILIO using native RPGLE and open source HTTPAPI utilities.

Performed general programming tasks such as developing/modifying interactive and batch programs that perform data validations, convert Query/400 queries into SQL programs for inclusion onto menu options or CL job streams, add f-keys to screens or create batch processes.

Built RESTFul web services to extract data from a J.D. Edwards World data base for consumption by programs running on the web. These restful web services were created using SQL and RPGLE in concert with YAJL and DB2 SYSTOOL HTTP utilities (such as HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE, HTTPGETCLOB, etc.).

Designed and built a UDF (User Defined function) to calculate an item’s unit price; this was done to centralize and standardize the manner of its calculation across the system.

10/18 – 11/18 Commsoft, Rensselaer, NY

All development was done using AS400/IBM I RPGLE

Develop software to convert MS Dynamics data for import into a NetSuite GL system. Data was converted to csv format and transmitted to NetSuite via FTP.

Create a “work with” application that allowed users to inquire, update, add or delete NetSuite GL cross reference file data.

07/17-02/18 DST Inc., Foothill Ranch, CA

Assisted in the modification of software to work with expanded data fields for one DST’s largest clients. This followed-up an automated enhancement that was made using a custom version of the X-Analysis tool by Fresche Legacy.

Built RESTFul web services to extract information from the Turboprise data base for the company’s new web site project. These objects were constructed using RPGLE with embedded SQL queries and the open source framework YAJL, that was modified by Scott Klement for use on IBM I.

Created SOAP webservices using the open source tools SOAPUI and HTTPAPI. Through SOAPUI, I was able to test the URI WSDL and get insight into the structure of the XML request document; with that information I was able to configure the webservice to transfer data in XML format to the receiving system.
