WORK EXPERIENCE
November 2020 – current: Employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Family Urgent Care. Primary responsibilities include emergency treatment of minor and serious injuries, COVID-19 testing and treatment, DOT physicals, sports physicals, and other physicals, and primary care. Skills utilized include reading radiological studies, suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
February 2020 – current: Employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Concentra Urgent Care. Primary responsibilities include occupational health as well as DOT physicals and timely care of minor injuries and illnesses. Skills utilized include reading radiological studies, suturing, incision and drainage, and treatment of acute illnesses.
May 2019 – current: Employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Triangle Wellness Group – Medi Weightloss Clinics. Primary responsibility is to focus on the wellness of the patient while overseeing weight loss for the reversal of diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia and for prevention of the above listed.
December 2018 – February 2020: Employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with CVS Minute Clinic. Primary responsibilities include diagnosing and treating on a timely basis every patient that walks into the clinic (ages 18 months and older) as well as performing DOT, sports, school, and yearly physical examinations. I also focus on prevention of illness by vaccination, education, and smoking cessation.
April 2011 – March 2019: Employed as a Registered Nurse at Atrium Health-Cleveland on the Cardiac Unit (Also cross trained and work in all of the following units: Postpartum Unit, Nursery, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Intensive Care Unit, and Surgical Floor). Hold charge nurse competencies on more than one unit. Also assist with other responsibilities on PCU such as making discharge phone calls, completing chart audits, and many other tasks.
