OBJECTIVE

I am currently seeking a position where I can utilize my extensive customer relations and people skills to provide exceptional service and advance my career. I am interested in working for a company who values their employees and where I will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Mechanic On The Go Tampa, Florida

Part Owner, Office Manager

December 2014 - present

I assisted my partner with opening the business. I did the office work, set up our tax ID and name. I started getting the word out about our mobile services and made sure that the first customers gave us great recommendations so we got a lot of work. Word of mouth has been a great advertising tool. I work from home and am in charge of taking calls and finding out what is wrong with the customer's vehicle. I determine whether or not the mechanic needs to diagnose the issue or if the customer is already aware of what part/parts need to be repaired/replaced. I then research the labor hours and parts needed to complete the job. After that I research the lowest prices in the customer's area and give this information to the mechanic. He decides on a fair price (usually much lower than competing shops in the area) and I contact the customers back with the estimate. If they chose to have us repair their vehicle I set up a time for our mechanic to go to their home, work, or wherever the vehicle's located to fix it. I then write up a repair order, and receipt if needed, for the mechanic to take with. I also am responsible for keeping the Facebook page current and business cards stocked.

I would take the calls and send the correct tradesman to give an estimate and then upon completion I would invoice the customers, collect payment and pay the workers and tradesman.
