PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
My positions with Graybar and SupplyCore required the ability to think and act professionally, to provide excellent customer service and to meet customer expectations while helping to maintain the profitability to the company. While challenging, I found it extremely rewarding and satisfying during my years working with both military and civilian customers especially in supporting the warfighter to complete their mission.
Working with both companies required me to effectively interact with customers, vendors, co-workers and management to provide support and results whenever needed no matter the challenge. I quickly learned the material and equipment requirements of the customers and how best to utilize vendors to meet those needs while ensuring that each order met the profitability needs of the companies

EXPERIENCE
Account Manager SupplyCore Rockford, Illinois
June 2017 - January 2020
My responsibilities included calling on US military installations to promote SupplyCore's Prime Vendor contract with the Defense Department through the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support. The contract allowed SupplyCore to supply material and equipment required for the Maintenance, Repair and Operations of the bases. My customers included Edwards AFB, Vandenberg AFB, the USMC base at 29 Palms, the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Naval bases at Port Hueneme, Point Mugu and Seal Beach, CA. The material we provided ranged from electrical, plumbing and hardware to highly sophisticated equipment such as 3D printers, signal analyzers and ground-penetrating radar units.
I developed strong relationships with existing customers while seeking out new customers who could benefit from utilizing our contract to procure the material and equipment required for the maintenance and operations of their facilities and to allow active military units to successfully
complete their missions. One of my personal goals while working as an Account Manager was to support and assist my customers in meeting their objectives consistently and effectively.
Supervisor/Management
Graybar Electric Company St. Louis, Missouri
October 1984 - October 2016
I held several positions during my years working for Graybar. I was a Customer Service Representative and was promoted to Supervisor of Customer Service for a specialized group that supported the US military when Graybar was awarded a Prime Vendor Contract with the Department of Defense through the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support. The contract provided nearly $300 million in annual sales for 15 years. I was assigned from 2003-2015 to manage the operations of a facility located at and supporting Naval Base Ventura County at Port Hueneme, CA.
My responsibilities included managing and ensuring the efficient operation of the facility and staff, promoting Graybar's Prime Vendor contract to both potential military and civilian customers while maintaining good relations with established customers. I effectively coordinated material and equipment deliveries to meet customer requirements and expectations while anticipating and resolving potential problems before they occurred, I effectively communicated any customer-related issues to Graybar's Corporate officers in St. Louis to quickly resolve them.
While I was managing the operations of Graybar's facility at Port Hueneme, it was the most profitable military account among the company's nation-wide defense customers for several years in a row.
