Responsible for establishing and/or managing stockists, these being contracted, commission-only, distribution agents, for Gweru District, that is, for the CBD and outlying country-side areas.
Ensuring vetting (Police clearance) of the would-be stockiest, before they are contracted and ensuring their training on the standard operating procedures relating to store-keeping activities including sales target achievement, brand or package contribution and the related stock-level or product availability assurance and adherence to quality systems including stock rotation
Planning and preparing a monthly visit schedule for carrying out the month’s stock reconciliation and cash collection audits at all the stockist points and making the report available to the branch Manager, the Regional Sales Manager and the Corporate Sales Manager
Ensuring the flexibility of the audit schedule as to restrict cash accumulation at the stockist point to prescribed limits and ensuring banking of the collected cash on the very day of collection with the company cashier or be deposited in the overnight safe at the company premises, for banking the following day.
