Manage the Design Department projects and activities from the conceptual phase, development phase, construction phase and till to the completion of work, in an efficient and timely manner. Ensure compliance with local relevant regulations, contractual obligations, company /franchise retails set standards, and food safety standards and is accountable for all related commercial and financial aspects.
Manage the projects and activities of the Design Department; plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadline in order to meet the budget which includes acquiring resources and coordinating the effort of team members, contractors and consultants in order to deliver projects according to the plan and standards set.
Conceptualize the company’s Project designs requirements; plan, conceptualize and assist in the preparation of the architectural drawings, BOM and BOQ, define interior design projects scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the Executive Management, Operations, Quality and Food Safety Teams.
Gather and prepare all relevant drawings and documents, required for obtaining the relevant approvals, NOC and licenses from local authorities for the accomplishment of the construction work and liaise with the Contracts Department accordingly.

Manage the tendering processes; float tenders, review the tender submissions received from the Contractors and provide an analytical report to facilitate the selection of tender winner and award of contract. Arrange an inquiry to Contractors and Suppliers.
Organize or conduct regular site visits to supervise the Projects, to make sure that the work delivered by the Contractor is in orderly manner and that the quality of work is carried as per the agreed specifications.
As an In-House Design Team, we support all internal Graphic Design jobs
(manuals, posters etc…) and support the Departments in the design preparation. Ensure that all designs are in line with the company’s branding and standards.
Oversee the day to day activities of the Interior Design Team and ensure that the office and locations’ requests are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Continuously seek to improve the main office and existing locations designs
(furniture, signs, posters etc…) through conducting a regular location visit and assigned an individual or a Design Team who will coordinate the Project.
Maintain an appropriate and accurate record keeping and filing system for all project documents, records and relevant communications (e-mail, letters etc)
