As an IT Manager of Northrop projects in Information Technology included working with and overseeing Network Backbone installations, I helped construct our server racks to include Crisco switches / Routers for WAN services for our sister sites / Firewalls setting up DMZ's. We used 3-layer VPN along with smart card technology for our remote access.

WIFI was set up also using our Des3 Channeling VPN to allow venders to use their laptops securely but we could still access as if we were from outside and using our smart card and VPN tunnel we could use it on company laptops as well. Router based point to point to SP-Cloud.

We changed multiple times as far as upgrading / migrating from client based to Web based application over our upgraded platforms by intergrading hardware and software, Example: our main system software we ran our entire company on was completely changed from a client pc Based to a Web server Based and I was tasked to implement this in less than 6 months. It was completed ahead of time, the program ran every facet of our company Accounting / MRP / Inventory Control / Projects / Client Database and all this was now on a web based server accessible which can be accessed anywhere in the world by employees only.

I was responsible for planning and identifying, testing in a Network Test Environment all variables of hardware and software, and then to implement them to a live Environment.

I was also instrumental in finding and testing new technology for integration into or revamping our current design.

Dealing with outside venders / contractors IE: electricians, low voltage cabling to fiber installations, along with these contract negotiations. With this an evaluation of performance and renewal of warranties/leasing agreements.

When upgrading I was instrumental in cost and bids that needed to be evaluated to show cost of proposed projects for redevelopment of network.

Revamped to Des3 in outer site direct to SP. VoIP was set for both sites so we had to upgrade Cisco Switch to include VoIP and POE to accommodate new Cisco VoIP phones.
