JOB PROFILE:

Reporting to GM Production Generating the daily melting schedule, ensuring proper preparation are made before Pouring. i.e Process control in melting and sintering of induction furnace and operation of the induction Furnace.

Managing the Work men for achieving the periodic Production Target in steel /S.G Iron foundry. Planning &executing the shop floor operation Like Induction Melting charge calculation,Melt calculation,melt composition adjustment,metal treatment,Pouring,Moulding; Maintaining the Quality and quantity of Mould and moulding sand.Ensuring sand plant activities .Ensuring Heat treatment activities like Annealing and tempering,Centrifugal casting and other relative activities in foundry. Ensuring regular Prevaentive maintenance of machine to ensure smooth running in the shift. Organizing help for the operator in rectifying machine problem at the time of breakdown. Planning BOM and Raw material procurement schedules for ensuring seamless Production function. Identifying scope for Modification in Process for controlling &reducing cost per unit. Handling operation for improvement in existing based on market trends &requiorement. Executing cost saving techniques/measures and modification to achive substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

Improving Quality /Productivity/Reliability at manufacturing with continual improvement. Monitoring discipline at the shop floor for an accident free &safe work culture. Handle shift production and TPM Related activities and supervised preventive maintenance

,maintaining machine efficiencies by attending to and resolving machine breakdoen and shift. Extended the development and implementation of technology to improve productivity through 5S implementation.

Controlling the chemical composition,casting defect analysis,Improvement in exiting tooling’s. Prepare monthly production planning report based on marketing schedule. Daily melting and moulding planning.

Prepare of process sheet accordingly for each S.G Casting,high chrome casting,Mining casting,steel casting.

Maintaining day wise Production schedule,produced report and back log report Prepare weekly shift wise and machine wise manpower planning report.

Coordinating Quality Control, Purchasing and marketing person,achieve perform toschedule goals. Monitoring shop floor housekeeping maintain open communication with employees and work with employees to mutually resolve problem to enhance morale. SKILLS :

1) S.G Iron,Cast iron,and wear resistance casting. 2) Casting defects and solutions.

3) Sand casting processes and centrifugel casting

4) Row material planning.

5) Involvement in Quality circle movement in the unit .ISO9001 and total Quality management. PROFESTIONAL OR EXPERIENCE

Sand testing such as sieve analysis,loss of ignition,Acid demand value Compressive and Transfer streangth check of mould. Methoding of new casting such as Gating system design,risering, Parting line etc. Moulding system expertise: acid fenolic system, Co2 process,pepset . Moulding core making and closing. Operation of high pressure molding machine Production line Expertise: 6 &15 M.T induction furnace,Moulding and omega mixer machine.
