My primary responsibility includes, working for the depots shipping and receiving bay. I process in damage items getting sent back from the field for repair at our facility. I expertly prepare items for quality inspections. I receive supplies in our company's financial operating system and close out existing orders.

One of my primary duties is Reconciliation which is basically balancing the Coast Guards financial accounts. I expertly reconciled accounts for 3 Coast Guard units.

Along with Reconciliation I am also in charge of Purchasing for 92 units in my district (From New York to Minnesota.) I ensure that mission critical parts made there way to the requesting units and as a result unit assets were able to stay fully mission capable. I also oversaw and directly contributed to the creation and implementation of 55 Service Maintenance Agreements.

An additional duty I am responsible for is the Asset Material Manager. It is my responsibility to account for, maintain, issue out and receipt all OM&S (Operating Materials and Supplies) inventory. I have maintained compliance on all my inventories and record keeping. This function is primarily through NESSS and FLS
(Naval and Electronics Supply Support System and Fleet Logistics System) to which I am very competent in both.

Upon arriving to the Aviation Logistics Center my first duty was Disposition. This required me to gain access to the Defense Logistics Agency. I then became proficient at creating and maintaining DLAs Electronic Turn in Documents (ETIDs) 1348-1A.

In addition to Disposition, I was part of the Property Team. I managed and tracked over 300 million dollars worth of Aircraft and Aircraft parts. The operating systems I used is ALMIS (Asset Logistic Management Information System) and AMMIS (Aviation Material Management Information System). This also required me to maintain several types of forms including DD-1149s, 1348-1a, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) DD-448.

A collateral duty I had during this time frame was processing Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) via form DD-4940. This function was preformed via AMMIS however I would have to transmit a DAMES report daily to send the orders to DLA.

During my time with ALC I was also a purchasing agent. I had a $75,000 monthly spending limit and was in charge of Micro Purchasing. (Supplies under $3,500, Services on $2,500 and Construction under $2,000.) This required meticulous record keeping and organizational skills. In addition to Mirco Purchasing I also was in charge of 32 Service Maintenance Agreements. I also worked closely with Contracting Officer and wrote his contracts. I am very knowledgeable with Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Codes of Federal Regulations.
