Master Production Scheduling:

Uses the history and current information from product forecast and sales planning, to strategically plan the aggregate rates of production and the inventory levels by ABC category, by time period, for groups of products. Smoothing of production is planned in this time frame. On occasion (the exception) they maybe modified in the planning time fence to cope with unforeseen developments.

Attended monthly forecast meeting with Marketing to ensure correct product forecast, taking into account: season, trend, promotions, launches, tenders, export etc.

Attended pert plan meetings with Production and Marketing.

Attended Production meetings every morning.

Input of product forecast.

After Nett-run of MRP at night, or full regeneration of MRP weekly, or monthly, plan production according to
