DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Identifies the patient’s name using patient identifier or by asking it if possible.

•Performs assessment if the patient has an allergic reaction in any foods and medications.

•Competently provides the creatinine result and relay it to the performing interventionist and administer the proper and suitable contrast material to be used.

•Competently operates the machine and position the patient with comfort prior the procedure.

•Operates the Power injector machine and able to set the correct parameters in each procedure.

•Works in collaboration with interventionist, nurses and other healthcare team members

•Provides correct protocol, data, images and measurements to the interventionist and nurses in each procedure.

•Assists procedures such as Coronary Angiogram and Angioplasty, Cerebral Angiogram and Coiling, Peripheral Angiogram and Angioplasty, Pulmonary Angiogram, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Temporary Pacemaker Insertion, Patent Ductus Arteriosus cases.

•Troubleshoots machines in the laboratory.

•Provides correct and high quality of radiographic images, CD’s copy of procedure for the patient. • Records patient histories and filed supporting clinical data and diagnosis.

•Educates patient as well as family members with regards to the procedure.

•Participates in general and medical staff meetings as required.
