Responsibilities: I was hired to lead the North America infrastructure business units. This included professional and consulting services in support of hybrid and cloud solutions. This included connecting several thought-leaders within Perot/Dell services with leading health systems CEO’s/COO’s/CFO’s by outlining state-of-art infrastructure strategies that made them more efficient and productive.

Enterprise-wide end-to-end infrastructure strategies: VDI, firewall, disaster recovery/business continuity (DR/BC), HIPAA security, staff augmentation, CIO engagements.

A 10 hospital health system including 64 ambulatory clinics, 1500 bed health system across three state lines, with 7000 employee, and $1.2b+ annual revenue. A level one Trauma center, national leading cancer center, newly built ER (Bristol Regional), WHS was the healthcare provider of choice throughout the southeast region of the state of Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

.SVP/Chief Information Officer

Role/Responsibilities included the corporate management of Wellmont’s Health System "IT division" (285 FTE's) and the day-to-day IT operations, including inpatient and outpatient ambulatory IT services. Managed a $205 mil annual IT budget.

My strength is around increasing Physician technology adoption – showing Physicians the advantages of software/technology solutions such as: physician portal upgrades, unified communications, e-signature, unified communications, clinical documentation (CDI), and Physician single sign-on solutions.

Developed 3-Year IT strategic plan, and created several IT industry leading SLA metrics – Gartner, KLAS best practices

Developed numerous operational work plans - Advanced experience in clinical and technical installations with various leading vendors: Cerner, EPIC, McKesson, AGFA, GE, etc.
