BSN, RN 3/2007-11/2020
I began my career at SIH in March of 2007, as an RN Case Manager. I covered all departments and was influential in developing protocols to assist in improving length of stay and quality outcomes. In 2011 I transitioned to Cancer Patient Navigation and helped develop the SIH Cancer Patient Navigation Program. In 2015 I became the BSN for the SIH Palliative Care Team. In 2016 I applied for NP school and in 2017 I took a job as a weekend-option RN on the Medical Unit so I could do my clinical rotations through the week. I graduated with my DNP in May of 2020. Over the years I was actively involved in several process improvement initiatives and took pride in supporting the mission of SIH.
