June 2018 to Present Project Manager Worley – Ineos KG Secondment

Project Manager and Engineering Lead

Responsibilities: To Complete the FEED Phase Stage Gate approvals, manage planning approvals, submit regulatory applications to SEPA etc. procurement, change management, fabrication, Construction Contracts, Constructability Reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, TAR Planning, TAR PreEngineering, Detailed Design Engineering, completions, commissioning and hand over of a new Ethane Cracker Furnace on behalf of Ineos O&P. This is a secondment from Worley Parson for a new Ethane Cracker Furnace 10 design and build EPC contract. The project will be delivered in a modular design with delivery from various fabrication yards and suppliers throughout Europe. This role has developed over time to a point where the focus is on current CDM Construction Coordination and Management legislation, which is now my main responsibility. My role has evolved over the project lifecycle from FEED through detailed design & procurement to the offsite fabrication and final onsite construction/commissioning. The scope included rail infrastructure decommissioning.

Responsibilities: To manage delivery of Offshore Wind OSS Topsides, RCS Topsides and Jackets. Package Management, Subcontract Awards, Structural yard Fabrication, Construction, commissioning and handover of the Orsted Hornsea Offshore RCS, Beatrice OSS and EoN Rampion Offshore Substation & Jacket. The scope of each project contained Modularised Topsides Design, Structural Fabrication, Outfitting, load out, integration of specialist vendors and commissioning. Reviewing and approving Safety Plans & Contractor RAMS, monitoring of Construction Quality & Performance and active participation in Project HSE are essential aspects of this role. Package Management, vendor negotiation and Project Close out were within my remit.

Home Office Manager of Construction.

Responsible for a Portfolio of FEED’s and EPC works from a Home Office Engineering and Construction Management perspective including contractor evaluations and contract awards ensuring all client governance is followed. My portfolio was the NOC North Hamada Field FEED and PMC, in Libya, (including roads & highways, pipelines for Crude Condensate and Gas to the Wafa and Melita Oil, Desalination & RO Water Supplies, wind power and PV infrastructure), ZADCO Zirku Island Modularised Substation Replacement, BP Kinneil Gas Turbine CHP EPCm, PetroIneos CDU2, CDU3 and VDU2 Refinery Modularised Reconfiguration, Ineos Grangemouth new energy CHP FEED with inputs to proposals for Sitre Oil Bregah Rebuild and PRL Karachi CDU Revamp. Programme Manager and Senior Project Engineer

TOTAL and Chevron contracts; responsible for the full project lifecycle management FEED to Handover) of Construction, Design, Contracts, Procurement, Scheduling, Estimating, and Commissioning of a Brownfield Offshore projects portfolio. Control of change is a key aspect of my role with a high degree of client interface requiring the development and maintenance of the client relationship, without compromising the interests of WGPSN. The projects ranged from repair orders and minor brown field mods to major capital investments, covering all disciplines, to enhance or replace major process plant and facilities.

Chevron Captain FPSO Life extension upgrade project containing the removal of workshops, storage facilities and laboratories in the forepeak to create space for personnel and additional Lifeboats/Donut systems to support the increased POB, with a new module to replace the areas removed. All works were constructed with the FPSO remaining in operation on station.

Total North Alwyn Gas Lift and Brent South West 3rd Party Field addition the scope included a jacket, a new Concentric Gas Lift process with a new Gas Compressor, process piping, flow lines, separation, control systems and upgrades to the crude export line.

Shellingham Shoal OSS Topsides offshore hook up and Precommissioning.
