Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at establishment and location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization.

Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments. Hear and resolve complaints from customers to the public.

Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public. Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.

Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars. Transmit information or documentation to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, scheduling, payroll, and filing.

Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information and to respond in a timely manner. File insurance request, follow up with authorization from different insurance companies.

Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing and database systems, either manually or using a computer. Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
