Management:

Supervise staff and HIM Coordinators to ensure the completion of daily work.

Payroll (Kronos)- Did payroll daily to ensure staff time and pay where correct.

OR process where I make sure doctors complete their dictations for surgeries daily using EMON and Citrix CIS/Cerner.

Suspension process where I make sure doctors complete any dictions that are over 21 days old before they are put on suspension using Physician Deficiency, EMON and CIS.

Audits on staff for the EMR process using the EHR audit tool.

Conduct interviews for hiring of new staff for the days and afternoon shift.

Coach and give disciples to staff for the days and afternoon shift.

Med Assets process for Detroit Receiving and Harper Hospital where I make sure auditors receive what they have requested from Healthport (Release of Information) using Med Assets program and ESmartlog.

Communication:

Interface with doctors to ensure proper completion of their dictations daily.

Have daily huddles with staff at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Harper Hospital.

Assist in monthly meeting with the Director for Harper/Detroit Receiving Hospital staff about daily work, changes in the department and updates on schedules.

Help doctors with research study audits.

Organization:

Assist in organizing and preparing work schedules and lunch schedules for employees.

Assist in planning activities for employees with the Director.

Structuralized employee personnel files.
