SUMMARY
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Civil and Water Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Zimbabwe. I am registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers (ZIE) and possess a South African critical Skills Work Permit. Currently I am working for Sanli Construction cc (Namibia) as a Projects Civil Engineer. I have experience in construction and project management. I have been involved in several projects, which include structural development, roads, sewerage and water reticulation, industrial and residential land development. As I progressed in my career development, my involvement and levels of responsibility in all aspects of engineering in Project Site Supervision and Management, Quality and Structural analysis, preparing Tender Documents and liaising with clients and authorities, Procurement and Testing of materials, Safety Health and Environmental issues as well as Total Quality Management have been steadily increased. My major areas of expertise are civil construction project management, structural designing, roads, and storm water drainage construction and designing with particular emphasis towards civil project management. I have also gained some experience in project management including project team structuring for various engineering projects. My experience has involved me in Engineer-Client and Engineer-Subcontractor liaison by attending selected management meetings and progress meetings from both vantage points. I have been responsible for resource planning, management, budget formulations, and personnel supervision. The nature of the jobs I have done caused me to liaise with relevant statutory undertakers, local authorities, as well as having to market company services. I have also become highly computer literate with major strengths in AutoCAD, REVIT and Civil 3D used in drawing preparation design, Prokon used in structural analysis, design, and MS Project in project management.
