I have grown up with chiropractic care from the age of 6, as one component of health, wellness and prevention. However, at the age of 16 I suffered from bilateral knee pain. Being on the high school varsity cross country team as a junior was my reward for working very hard. My hard work would have been shattered if it were not for my chiropractor, Dr. Jerry McClane. His care kept me from career ending surgery. His interest in me and the results I experienced planted the seed in my mind to become a doctor of chiropractic.
When my chiropractic career officially began in 1990 I had incorporated healthy eating, nutrition and appropriate exercise as an integral of patient care. I have presented over 500 lectures, work shops and seminars that covered weight loss, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other preventable lifestyle complications.
