Responsibilities-

To ensure a documented Health, Safety, Security and Environmental process is in place and implemented including ensuring all regulatory/compliance expectations are met.

Provides HSE leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups.

Tracks company health and safety metrics and use the data to identify and to reduce risk. Develop new strategies for the mitigations of risks and negative exposures on operations and company assets

Ensure that Contractor HSE activities comply with Company & Contractor HSE Policies & Plans, conform to the terms & conditions of the Contract and meet local statutory HSE regulations. Develop and implement Safety and Security plans

Development of Safe Work Practice (Plant Instructions) specific to EGTL Plant operation and the integration of EGTL Plant Instructions with existing Business Unit Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to form the CNL JV/EGTL SOP that is applicable to both facilities.

Develop, manage & implement HSE Management systems from construction, commissioning through to operations phase of the EGTL facility.

CHESM (Contractor Health, Environmental & Safety Management System) Implementation – EGTL Plant Contractor Evaluation, Mobilization, Work in Progress and End of Contract Evaluation for all Contractors in the EGTL commissioning/operations phase of the project.

Implementing departmental HSE objectives and ensuring Key Performance Indicators for contractors as the basis for measuring contractor performance.
