I have worked at Moffett Road Veterinary Clinic since April 2, 2014. I started out in the kennel and eventually worked my way up to technician and receptionist, 3 years ago. My job duties include assisting the doctor in surgery and exam rooms, accessing patients before they are seen. Calculating drug dosages. Administering vaccines. Placing iv catheters. Monitoring pets while under anesthesia. Monitoring recovering patients and extubating. Discharging clients and going over medications and home care instructions.

My duties as receptionist include checking emails, checking clients in/out. Scheduling appointments, appropriately. attaching patient histories. Calling previous vets for our new clients to get their records. Ordering supplies for the clinic. Taking messages for doctors. Take inventory regularly.

Certification: CMA- studied at Saad healthcare in Mobile, Alabama. Received my certification July 2021.
