MAIN PROJECT

Performance analysis of Bench Top Cooling Tower with different Packing material using CFD

Description: The analysis part includes a three dimensional computational solution of air and water simultaneous equations which represents the fluid flow, heat transfer and mass transfer. The agreement seems acceptable between the experimental and analysis results.

My Role : - Model the structure in ANSYS where weld is to be performed

-To validate the obtained results with experimental and analysis values.

MAIN PROJECT

Study on a CI Engine with Carbureted Ethanol.

Description: In this study project, fumigation method is used and carburetor replaces the air filter which requires minimum modifications to engine so there is no need to fix separate injector for ethanol. In our project, there is no penalty of reduction in power output and increase in HC & CO and reduction of more than 15% smoke.

My Role : -To collect results of simulation and to prepare charts in excel

-To validate the obtained results with experimental values

MINI PROJECT

Design and Fabrication of “Power Generation Using Rack And Pinion Arrangement in Foot Steps”

Description : The electrical energy is generated by unconventional means by the conversion of mechanical movement. The actuators convert mechanical movement of footsteps during climbing stairs. This is a prototype model that can implement in regions where there is increased population movement.
