Keroche is a major manufacturer of alcoholic beverages in Kenya producing brands such as Summit Lager, Summit Malt, Crescent Vodka and Vienna Ice. I was in charge of the procurement and warehouse functions managing a team of fourteen individuals. June 2014 – Apr. 2017: Head of Procurement and Logistics Key responsibilities:
• Day to day purchases of raw and packaging materials, LPO approval.
• SOPs drafting, amendment and implementation.
• Imports/Exports and Logistics management.
• Management of inventory and monitoring of re-order levels.
• Fleet management.
• Route planning to ensure the product reaches the depots on time and efficiently.
• Promotions planning in conjunction with the various depots and the marketing teams.
