Hanas Mica Hardware store Lydenburg 2017 - 2017 My position entailed being a cashier, as well as a floor manager where I had to oversee other cashiers, handle large sums of money and deal with customer queries. I enhanced my customer relations skills by communicating with customers and solving their issues. I have extensively good experience in sales. Throughout my involvement at this thriving business I have had several experiences which put me in challenging positions, that forced me to grow and deal with pressures that come with the territory. Lydenburg Convenience Centre Lydenburg 2019 – 2020 LCC is comprised of an Engen fuel station, Quickshop, Barcelos, and Corner Bakery. My position required me to handle several teams of staff working on a shift basis. The fuel station, Quickshop, and Corner Bakery is open 24/7. My responsibilities included managing stock for several sectors. Processing Shift changes, managing the general day-to-day operations of the convenience Centre, and troubleshooting any problems. I have adapted to being prepared for any situation whether it’s a disgruntled customer, malfunctioning fuel pumps, or the computer system going offline. In simple terms, I have learned to manage and deal with unexpected occurrences typical to any business.

High School – In High School I had completed my National Senior Certificate with a Bachelors pass, where I was also part of the Youth Council. I had performed better than the National average in Mathematics and Accounting.

Madina Institue – I partook in a one year intensive course on the teachings of Islam. I had Arabic as a language, and had an outstanding performance for several subjects.

University – I had completed my Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and information systems at the University of the Western Cape. YOUNG INVESTORS PROGRAMME – In my second year at

university, I joined the program, the program's aim is to educate students on the world of investing. Due to this, I had expounded on my knowledge on investing in the stock market and trading forex. At the end of the year, I earned my certificate from the program. I learned how to do analysis on a company and create a report based on the technical, fundamental analysis, and financial reports of the company.

All of the work I have done requires one to have excellent people skills. The abovementioned industries require one to engage with many different types of people, including challenging individuals. I demonstrate excellent skills in understanding a person’s problems, needs, and wants. I bring value in problem-solving, which I have mostly developed during my tertiary studies, as well as through work experience.

I have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. I can work well in a group, I deal incredibly well with conflict resolution. These skills were developed through various courses and have been reinforced during work experiences and communications with clients and several sectors in higher management.
