Responsibilities:
- Prepare work schedule and drilling programs to meet desired well objectives
-Generate well profiles and optimize well planning with the Landmark software
-Liaise with regulatory body (DPR) on statutory requirements on HSE, drilling approvals and licenses.
-Monitor and record day to day drilling and completions process and operations on the rig.
-Deploy effective solutions to meet operational demands and ensure continuity
-Liaise with project partners in rendering seamless day to day operations.

Position: Drilling Operations Engineer
Responsibilities:
-Monitor, track and report Rig operations, performance trends and Non Productive Time(NPT)
-Monitor and track activity vs planned time/ develop drilling time curve
-Prepare End of Well Report (EOWR) and defend same
-Liaise with rig management on performance optimization
-Liaise with DPR on licenses/permits issuance and renewal. Ensure statutory/technical requirements are met
-Carryout DPR pre-license inspection alongside DPR officials and ensure closeout of highlighted issues during inspection.
-Carry out technical, operational and cost analysis
-Administrator of the Preventive Maintenance System and performance monitoring tool
-Ensure up to date execution of scheduled maintenance, monitor equipment breakdown trend and diagnose impact of repeat failure on performance
-Maintain and update performance database
-Oversee the execution of detailed step by step drilling, workover and completion programs on rig site as per well proposals and objectives
-Carry out all drilling and workover operation engineering duties related to assigned onshore rigs
-Ensure equipment and spares cost control implementation
-Make technical information input into business proposals
-Monitor/ensure execution of contracts in line with agreed terms.
-Attend all Pre-Operations and Operations meetings; DWOP, CWOP, TWOP. Discuss performance trends and optimization plan
-Monitor and report day to day rig revenue and expenditure.
-Ensure JSA and hazard analysis are performed prior to any operation.
-Monitor safety practice and ensure HSE performance is improved
-Advise management on general operational issues and cost, welfare and HSE.
-Assist in day to day running of the rigs as it cuts across each department
-Assist in resolving challenging situations encountered during drilling operations such as stuck incident, poor drilling fluid quality, equipment failure, loss circulation, etc.
