Responsibilities:

Preventive maintenance of transformers, motors & generators

Maintenance of circuit breakers

Coordinate with turn over group to make handover documents related to QC department

Leading a project quality control team for attending various tests of visual inspections, megger test, grounding inspections etc.

Conducting insulation resistance tests for Cables of power, controlcable.

Megger test for the motors, transformers (LV & HV) at both ends of the windings primary and secondary (includes resistance, insulation, continuity and body to ground tests).

Testing of Motors on no load which can be called as Solo run test (includes rpm of motor and temperature of bearings of the motors).

Conducted inspection for the electrical equipments and all lighting fixtures

(includes mounting, elevation and alignment).

Conduct the lighting function test, Load balance & Illumination test.

Daily work allocation arrangements to technicians as per maintenance schedule

Daily report Preparation and fault history analysing

Process Electrical machineries spares maintain.

Maintain power factor improvement in capital power.

Installation of transmitters and loop checking (HART, FLOW, PRESSURE)

Modify QVD as per requirement

Follow the QCP ( quality control plan ) & ITP ( inspection test plan ).

Organizing the team for job. Output deliverable, Co-ordination with construction activities.

Preparation of Request for Inspection (RFI) for various. Activities of inspections and coordinating with client for the technical approval.

Responsible for conducting internal and clientinspections.

Coordinate with third party and conduct testing and pre-commissioning of transformers, panels, switchgear, Mcc, capacitor panel, Mv cable Hi-pot test.

Conduct inspections for, CCTV, Paging, Public Address and Firealarm, system installation & functiontest.

Involved in installation of RGS and EMT conduit items according to the drawings.

Conducting inspection for Heat tracing cable installation, insulation resistancetests for Heat Tracing Cables its power & RTD cable.

Conducting Inspection & testing of cathodicsystem.

Issuing construction punch list for the construction department if needed.

Inspections of all materials/ equipment received on site and check the approval submittal, and also check whether necessary inspection reports from Third party inspector wherever necessary, are available.

Preparation of materials receiving reports & files them for necessary inspection to QC inspector.

Request all material test certificates of all materials to be used in present project.

Preparation of safety risk assessment prior to start thework.

Preparation of punch list and follow up coordination with client approval.

Miscellaneous: lighting transformers and panels, lighting fittings, cable trays, MV/LV cables, HVAC distribution panels and supply, grounding systems, lightning protection system, cathodic protection system, fire alarm system, telephone system etc.

Coordination with mechanical and production departments.

Conduct regular meeting with all area in-charge, E&I construction manager and consultants, and problem solving for technical/quality aspect, schedule and other related project problems.
