EXPERIMENTAL SKILLS : Acquired knowledge in PYTHON,CATIA, ANSYS and ABAQUS. PROJECT:

Mixing characteristics of HEV Static Mixer : static mixers with two different tabs is tested for inlet condition of 1.4 bar and 1.2 bar in subsonic range by both experimental and computational(ANSYS FLUENT). Mixing characteristic of flow are analysed and compared after the tab. INVESTIGATION OF MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF FLAX EPOXY INTERLEAVED WITH PINEAPPLE LEAF FIBER: Bidirectional flax fiber reinforced epoxy laminates were interleaved with randomly oriented chopped pineapple leaf fiber of 1cm length. Tensile test and flexural test of the specimen with and without interleave for untreated, potassium permanganate treated and alkali treated flax fiber were carried out with acoustic emission sensors. From experiment it is seen that due to the presence of interleave the maximum load withstood by the material in flexural test and elongation at break increases, where as the tensile strength of the specimen decreases due to the presence of interleave for all untreated, potassium permanganate and alkali treated fiber.
