DUTIES:

Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services locally and overseas purchasing.

Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers.

Managing, developing & improving the purchasing strategies.

Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery, and contracts.

Administering the purchasing systems.

Preparing & processing requisitions and purchase orders.

Projecting stock levels.

Controlling the purchasing budget.

Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time.

Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues.

Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.

Other spends categories include: marketing, HR, professional services, catering, uniforms, facilities.

Taking responsibility for the effective flow of information between team members, participants in project activities.

Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information.

Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget.

Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise.
