Job Description

• Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan.

• Procurement of raw material (Chemical, Gases etc.) /MRO/tooling’s/Instruments / spare,SPM, IT software and hardware, packing material from national and international market.

• Development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials which helps in cost saving.

• Purchasing machines/SPM with improved technology to increase production.

• Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations, reducing prices through consolidation of material.

• Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.

• ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality, timely delivery etc.

• Development of new vendors, conducting trainings for vendors to educate them about company’s requirements and help, code of conduct them in improving their performance.

• Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.

• Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries.

• Achieved saving INR 33 Lakhs as per target saving in the year 2014 by LTA & negotiations and consolidation of material.

• Saved INR36 Lakhs by develop new source of LPG in the year 2014-15 by implementing new vendor with received appreciation certificated with award money INR 5000

• Got the star of quarter award on 2017 for cost saving thought negotiation of currant supplier for bulk buying.

• Achieved saving INR21 Lakhs thought trial new toolings against existing toolings on the basis of CPC and Price in the year 2019.

• Received pat on the back from internal maintenance team for on time execution of breakdown materials in July 2020.
