CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS: While I was employed in manufacturing I took on many new and rewarding challenges. I became solder certified which allowed me to utilize my skills to train new employees as well as travel for the company. I was allowed to be involved in the creating of new blueprints for new jobs as well as prototype the job itself. I discussed how jobs were built with customers. My leadership strengths allowed me to travel to Mexico to set up a new facility as well as train 15 new employees. While in Nursing school I was secretary of our HOSA group. This again allowed me the opportunity of leadership. I kept a journal with all the minutes from our meetings as well as kept students and faculty updated on events and fundraising activities we were hosting. I was able to attend the NY State HOSA competition in April of 2012 which was held in Syracuse NY. I placed 2nd in Career Health Display as well as took 1st place in Clinical Nursing which involved a written exam as well as a demonstration of skills based on an unknown scenario. By placing in these events, it allowed me to travel to Orlando Florida June 2012 to compete at the National level with over 7000 students from all over the United Sates. By being involved and competing for Hosa it allowed me to build my confidence in the skills I have developed as well as build my interpersonal skills
