Position : Camp Clerk + Assit. Catering Store keeper. Job Description
1. Allocation of accommodation to Company staff. Maintaining a computer record that explains occupancy and reserve accommodation.
2. Explain in formal way the camp rules and regulations to the new arrivals and record their acceptance. 3. Daily mustering and allocation of duties to the maintenance staff. Maintain computerized time sheets for these staff.
4. Periodic inspection of accommodation rooms for cleaning standards, housekeeping and general hygiene. Advise the maintenance staff during daily briefing.
5. Check the turn out of catering staff, quality of food, storage of food items, cleaning and housekeeping standards of food storage and dining halls. Advise catering foreman and maintenance staff accordingly. 6. Make a computerized fire plan and position the first aid fire fighting equipments according to the plan. Periodic inspection of these equipments and dealing with vendor if required. 7. Periodic inspection of cooling systems fitted in the accommodations for their effectiveness and do repairs/replacements as required basis.
8. Dealing with respective vendors for supply of certified potable water, sewage clearance etc. 9. Scrutinize the suggestions/complaints raised by the camp residents. Try and sort out if within the scope or project/follow up the problem with the management if required. 10. Checking of Laundry for cloth washing standard and prompt delivery. 11. Participation in periodic walkthrough with HSE staff and Paramedic and take a note of points for necessary corrective action.
12. Manage the transportation for the staff as per the established transportation schedule to the nearest main city and back to the camp. Provide emergency transportation for taking patients to hospital, departures/arrivals to and from the airport etc.
13. Liaise with Personnel and Finance department during vacation/departure of the employee. 14. Supply and record keeping of living items such as blankets, soaps, glasses, pillows, beds sheets, towels etc to the residents.
15. Ensure discipline and timings in recreation rooms. 16. Conduct mess meetings involving management and employees to discuss the important issues directly with the management.
17. Advise management the areas that need attention and improvement. 18. Conducting surprise checks for ensuring alertness by camp security staff. 19. Supervise gardening work in the camp. Suggest the gardening staff for any improvements. 20. Display of transport schedule, camp rules and regulations, management notices, HSE posters, medical bulletins, weekly menus on notice boards.
21. Conduct sports activities as per planned schedule. Plan the tours for the employees as per management policies. 22. If required co-ordinate to send packed meals to the site. 5/5
